Who can enrol at Marden?
- Beginning or continuing the SACE
Any student can enrol for all or part of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or to undertake a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course offered by the College.
Students from other schools wanting to study a SACE subject or VET certificate which is not offered at their school.
- Under 21 years of age wanting to improve ATAR
Students who are under 21 years of age and who have completed their SACE but wish to improve their Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) or gain a university pre-requisite subject can enrol for full or part-time study.
- Under 21 years of age returning to education to complete SACE
Students who have left school without completing SACE can study a program that meets SACE requirements. This can include Stage 1 and 2 subjects and/or VET Certificates.
- Over 21 years of age
Students over 21 years of age and who have not completed SACE have an entitlement to complete the SACE in SA Government schools. Each student will need to complete a SACE Pathways Plan that describes the way in which the SACE will be achieved. This can include Stage 1 and 2 subjects and/or VET Certificates.
All courses offered at Marden Senior College allow students to complete SACE and all certificates are nationally recognised training courses offered through the Marden Senior College Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and other training providers.
