“My learning was hindered when I had teachers I did not have a connection with. My grades and attitude towards learning was poor, and I did not receive the help or connection I needed from them.
As I changed schools to Marden Senior College for my senior years, I encountered teachers that changed my perception of learning, where positive relationships were created and teachers took time out of their day to make these connections.
I now know, by personal experience, how students can benefit academically, through creating strong bonds and good relationships with teachers.”
