Course Overview
Essential Mathematics extends mathematical skills in ways that apply to practical problem-solving in everyday and workplace contexts. This includes choosing from a range of topics that may include: everyday calculations, financial management, earning, spending and budgeting, investing and loans, measurement and geometry and statistics. There is an emphasis on developing calculation skills using various technologies and applying mathematical skills in flexible and resourceful ways.
