Course Overview
Students will have the opportunity to experiment with a range of fashion based skills including fashion illustration, wearable art and learning techniques for creating fashion accessories. This subject allows for student input into the specific skills they wish to develop in class, and participate in a group showcase of their work.
This is a school-developed program giving students an opportunity to meet the SACE requirements through designing and producing fashion items. The course is based around practical assignments that will cover design development and developing a body of work. Activities may include involvement in college events as a focus for planning, organising and participating in a fashion stall/exhibitions.
The course has a focus on skill development and collaboration to aid students in developing their planning, organisational, collaborative research, reflecting and analytical skills.
